Poinciana United Methodist Church has a long and proud history of continued ministry to this community and most importantly to the work of the Kingdom of God. 

In 1991 Poinciana United Methodist Church was formed through a merger of Miami Springs United Methodist Church and First United Methodist Church of Hialeah. A changing demographic and the desire to continue to serve our community faithfully led to this change.  The two churches that came together have a unique and diverse story of their own, including a rich history of service and missionary outreach.  We continue to thank God for his blessing and guidance as we continue to do His work in our community and world.
