Faith's Place is an outreach ministry of Poinciana United Methodist Church whose mission is to provide a support system for the parents of autistic children.

To that end, Faith's Place will provide a monthly support group aimed at disclosing new interventions, sharing ideas and finding a "family" that understands each other's hardships.  We also provide scholarships for underprivileged children to receive therapies.

We believe that when Jesus Christ said, "let the children come to me," He meant all children.  We are humbled that He has entrusted us with loving His often forgotten children.

We proudly support this children's home in Enterprise, Florida (www.fumch.org)

This is a wonderful place that helps families and children with special needs to experience God's love and care as presented in the life and ministry of Jesus Christ.

UNITED METHODIST COMMITTEE ON RELIEF (UMCOR)

This is a great way to help others during Hurricane season.  They deliver hope and enhance human dignity through food, shelter, health, and peace projects.

LOCAL BLOOD BANKS

We work with both local blood banks with blood drives throughout the year.  We will be having a blood drive this year at our Pumpkin Patch on October 26, 2008!

HOOI
(Homeless and Orphan Outreach, Inc)

We plan a mission trip yearly to the Dominican Republic to help maintain local orphanages in the area.

Jake Roudenbush is in charge of this mission trip.

KAIROS
(Women's Prison Ministry)

We are a proud host site for this unique outreach to women in prison.

BUS MINISTRY

The Bus Ministry helps to bring members of the Miami Rescue Mission to church on Sunday and to Celebrate Recovery meetings as desired.

Please let the office know if you can assist with maintaining the bus or driving the bus.

BREAKFAST IN PERU

This is a yearly mission trip taken to Peru to bring supplies and to help maintain an orphange in Peru
